In 1999, Brian Hayes became the first Australian musician to be given the honour of a full album release on the acclaimed New York, USA music education label Music Minus One.

"Sinatra, Sax & Swing" was voted Best Instrumental Album at the 15th Annual SUNNIE RECORDING AWARDS, Australia, August 2000.
